I am back - racing again!

I want to share this with you.
Yesterday I won an international open water race in the river Elbe outside of Hamburg. 2.5km in 35 minutes. Out of a group where many were 19-20 year old competitive swimmers.
Great feeling! People were really excited and happy. Me too. This was my first race since the accident. I am still not 100% but like someone said; 80% Glen is like 120% someone else. :-)
I swam under a club name I invented: Noes Papa.
 
Thank you for your support and encouragement during these past months. It has been tough, but now I am here. Grateful and strong.
