records are there to be broken

Records are there to be broken and not be held for ever. That´s what my father always told me and I have since then aimed for new barriers to brake and never shed a tear over a lost record. So it is with joy I learned that Jonas Bentling broke my 100m breaststroke a few weeks ago with a 1.03,98 in the 30-34 age-group.CONGRATULATIONS Jonas! That the record was from January 1987 and swum with more restricted stroke rules doesn´t take away anything from his accomplishment. Not at all. He is the first to brake this record in 27 years. Well done. Good luck with new challenges. I will try to set some records this year too. :-)
