never stop learning

Swimming has developed very much since I was a world ranked swimmer and even since I took my first coaching degree. Swimming in 2014 is very different to what is was in the 80´s. So in order to grow as a coach and teacher I never stop trying to learn more and collect new information. One way to do it is to travel and speak with successful swimmers and coaches all over the world. To be open to new ideas.This way have I managed to be up to date and not stuck in the way "things used to be".  Today I had an interersting talk with my friend Guennadi Touretski who coached Olympic champions and swim legends like Alexander Popov and Ian Thorpe. Guennadi is now coaching in Switzerland a country showing great progress the last years thanks to his work. NEVER STOP LEARNING
